The Opportunity

City Kids is dedicated to creating nurturing environments, not only for the children in their care, but also for the educators who support them every day.

Recognising the importance of staff wellbeing, the City Kids leadership team wanted to do something special for their team during International Women’s Week.

Their goal was to provide educators with an opportunity to pause, relax, and take a moment for themselves during the workday.

The Wellness Hire Solution

Working closely with the City Kids Director, Josephine,  the AquaSsage / Wellness Hire team arranged for a commercial massage chair to be installed in their educator breakout room for educators to use.

Originally planned as a short wellness initiative around International Women’s Week, the massage chair was made available for the entire team for a full month so that all staff had the opportunity to reset and relax.

The chair was delivered and set up by the Wellness Hire team, making it simple and easy for the City Kids team to incorporate into their workplace environment and every day.

The Team Experience

The massage chair quickly became a welcome addition to the staff room.

For educators who spend their days caring for others, having a dedicated moment to relax and release tension was greatly appreciated.

Staff were able to take short breaks to recharge, helping support both their physical comfort and overall wellbeing during the busy workday. Supporting staff wellbeing doesn’t just improve morale, it also helps the team return to their work feeling refreshed, focused and more productive throughout the day.

The Outcome

The initiative was a thoughtful way for City Kids to recognise and celebrate their team while reinforcing the importance of wellbeing in the workplace.
